Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center
The Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center (previously know as The Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit) is a state-of-the-art health facility with special purpose equipment tailored to the sport. It has long been the official on track support that provides urgent health care for our riders, their crews and event staff at no charge.
Dr Bodnar and the staff of volunteer’s extensive knowledge when it comes to first response assistance helps give the riders a piece of mind that they will be taken care of if needed. The Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center’s staff is able to assess the level of injury, give treatment and get the rider back racing when possible.
It is safe to say that they have raised the level of the sport due to their efforts. In 2014 the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center started a neurocognitive testing and concussion management program, which provided a safety protocol for our professional riders.
You can now be part of the fundraising that supports the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center! The mobile center attends over 30 events per year, helping an enormous amount of athletes. We thank you for your support and assistance on such a significant program in our sport.
