Nathan Woods Memorial CCMA’s Off-Road or Adventure Poker Run- Benefiting Jessy Nelson

This year (2017) the CCMA (Central Coast Motorcycle Association) has dedicated the Nathan Woods Memorial Off-Road Poker Run to raising funds for the benefit of Jessy Nelson through Road 2 Recovery, a purpose that Nathan would have whole heartedly supported. Jessy Nelson grew up locally riding the Pozo trails, and was mentored by the late Nathan Woods. The two racers practiced together, and even competed in the CCMA’s annual Hangover, in which Jessy was able to break Nathan’s long winning streak. The event consists of a 35 mile trail ride through the scenic and challenging motorcycle trails in the Los Padres National Forest, Black Mountain District (known locally as “Pozo”.) The staging area is about 20 miles from Santa Margarita, California. Pancake breakfast will be available for riders at 8:00 a.m. Riders will draw cards at various stations along the route.
