OUR MISSION SAYS IT ALL

Who We Are.

R2R intervenes when an athlete experiences a severe injury by providing resources to the athlete and family, negotiating with hospitals and insurance companies, processing medical bills, raising awareness, planning events for fundraising, building a relationship with the athlete and family, sourcing out the necessary medical equipment, and overall easing the financial burden while simultaneously being a source of support in the athlete’s new phase of life.

What We Do.

The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 to help AMA-licensed motocross and supercross professionals and action sports athletes with financial assistance after sustaining career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional and spiritual support to these individuals and their families.

We are a small but motivated organization that goes above and beyond in order to fulfill the emergent and long term needs of athletes who have experienced a career altering injury.
