UPDATE MARCH 23:
Kyle continues to fight, and while there have been some encouraging steps forward, we want to be honest—this is still a very serious situation, and there is a long road ahead.
Kyle remains in a coma as doctors carefully guide his recovery one step at a time. At this time, doctors are holding off on additional surgery until Kyle is able to show more movement. Kyle’s medical team is being extremely cautious, doing everything they can to protect him and give him the best chance at recovery. They are continuing to slowly reduce his sedation to see how his body responds. As a precaution, doctors have placed a filter to prevent blood clots from reaching his heart or lungs. Because of his risk of bleeding, they are unable to use blood thinners at this time—making this step critical in keeping him safe.
There have been encouraging signs, and we are holding onto those tightly. But Kyle is still in the fight of his life, and this journey is far from over. Please keep Kyle and his family in your thoughts. They need strength, peace, and unwavering support during these incredibly difficult days. If you would like to support Kyle, please donate now. No amount is too small.
UPDATE: MARCH 17
Kyle continues to fight, and while there have been some encouraging steps forward, we want to be honest—this is still a very serious situation, and there is a long road ahead. Kyle remains in a coma as doctors carefully guide his recovery one step at a time.
At this time, doctors are holding off on additional back surgery until Kyle is able to show more movement. The procedure will require a large incision, and with Kyle currently unable to move, the risk of infection is high. The team is being extremely cautious, doing everything they can to protect him and give him the best chance at recovery.
They are continuing to slowly reduce his sedation to see how his body responds. Each small sign, each moment of progress, means everything right now.
As a precaution, doctors have placed a filter to prevent blood clots from reaching his heart or lungs. Because of his recent neck surgery and the risk of bleeding, they are unable to use blood thinners at this time—making this step critical in keeping him safe.
There have been encouraging signs, and we are holding onto those tightly. But Kyle is still in the fight of his life, and this journey is far from over.
Please continue to lift Kyle and his family up in your prayers. They need strength, peace, and unwavering support during these incredibly difficult days.
UPDATE: MARCH 10
Kyle remains sedated as doctors prepare for three major spinal fusion surgeries — at C1 in his neck, as well as the mid- and lower-lumbar regions. Due to the complexity of these procedures, doctors are keeping him sedated to stabilize his body and prevent movement that could cause further injury. He may remain sedated for at least a week or longer.
Kyle also suffered bruising to his brain and has been diagnosed with a mild Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI). Doctors are monitoring him closely, but thankfully have confirmed there is no spinal cord injury.
In an encouraging moment, Kyle briefly opened his eyes when his mom spoke to him.
Kyle has a long road ahead. If you’d like to support his recovery, please donate through his Cause Page at road2recovery.com and keep Kyle and his family in your thoughts.
March 5, 2026:
Kyle remains in critical but stable condition.
Yesterday, doctors performed surgery on Kyle’s skull, removing a portion of bone to help relieve the pressure on his brain. Prior to surgery, his intracranial pressure was in the 20s, but thankfully it has now dropped to 8, which is a positive development.
Moving forward, the medical team will begin slowly reducing some of the medications to see how Kyle’s body responds. This will be a careful and gradual process, and it will take time as doctors closely monitor his progress.
Kyle’s family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
During these uncertain moments, they are asking for your continued prayers and support.
We will share more details as they become available. Please follow us on Social Media for daily updates.

Kyle Partridge was practicing at Perris Raceway — just months after getting his new 450 Ducati — when he was involved in a devastating accident that left him in critical condition.Kyle was overjoyed to be back on a dirt bike. Not long ago, he was able to share his love of riding with his son, Landon, for the very first time — a moment that meant everything to him and one he was so excited to experience again and again.
We all understand the risks of this sport. But we also understand the passion — the deep-rooted love that makes it nearly impossible to step away.
Kyle sustained a traumatic brain injury and underwent emergency surgery to relieve swelling and stop bleeding. He also suffered collapsed lungs requiring chest tubes and multiple fractures along his spine beginning at C1. He is currently in an induced coma as doctors carefully monitor his brain and give it time to heal.
When he clears brain protocol, he will face several major surgeries, including procedures to address his spinal injuries, reconstruct the left side of his rib cage, and repair fractures in both scapulas.
Despite the severity of his injuries, Kyle is fighting. We truly believe he feels the love and prayers surrounding him, and we are incredibly thankful for the dedicated medical team caring for him in Southern California.
The road ahead will be long, but Kyle is not walking it alone. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, and strength during this unimaginable time. Your continued love means more than words can express to all of us who love him.
