The event schedule is subject to change.
The Whiskey Throttle Show is the first of its kind in southern California, or anywhere for that matter, and is poised to become a must-see/must-listen event in the heart of the motocross world. If you missed the live show, the podcast can be found on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify and links can be found on www.racerxonline.com and www.thewhiskeythrottleshow.com.
What is the live show all about?
Once a month the Whiskey Throttle Show at the TLD Saloon will be open to the public. The dates will vary based on the guest, but the good times and beer will flow like wine. For a $30 donation you get a ticket to the show. Your tax-deductible donation gets you into the show and a chance to meet and mingle with the featured guest and the hosts of the show, Ping and GL.
You can pre-purchase your tickets here. All you need to bring with you is your ID to confirm your name and age with registration. You don’t have to be 21 to attend. All ID’s will be checked at the door. You can check back here to see future show dates and guests, or visit www.thewhiskeythrottleshow.com or follow them on Instagram @whiskeythrottleshow or on Twitter @w_throttle_show.
Each show will begin with a bench racing session between Ping and GL called Front End Chatter. Upcoming races, results from previous races, on-track drama and current events will all be up for discussion. That leads directly into the introduction of that show’s featured guest, which will last approximately 90 minutes. The long form interview style will allow us to really get to know the guest and take fans along for the ride.
A segment titled Last Call will feature the Whiskey Throttle Show hosts making prank calls to industry personnel and random Craig’s List advertisers. These shenanigans will be pre-recorded so there won’t be any delay in the show. That will be followed by the Get @ Me Q&A segment where emails and Tweets will be answered on the show. During the live events these questions will come right from the crowd.
