8th Annual BMX Benefit Jam July 25
Road 2 Recovery- Action Sports
Through the past jams we have all made a difference for John Lee, Stephen Murray, Scotty Cranmer, Kevin Robinson’s family and Road2Recovery (2 times). I would like to ask you all again to join me this year (July 25th) for another year of BMX fun while raising money for Road 2 Recovery action sports athletes at the Trumbull BMX track in Connecticut. Aside from the all day fun of jump lines, pit bike racing, sidehack racing, manual contests and more, we raise a substantial amount of money through our raffle and silent auctions. I do not work in the BMX industry but I do know from my day job that material costs are skyrocketing and delivery lead times are being pushed further and further out each week. With that said I am very grateful for any donations of hard or soft goods that can be used for the raffle and/or silent auction. Also, if there are signed items that your sponsored riders may be able to donate to the silent auction we would appreciate that greatly. Better yet, if you have sponsored riders that can be at the event we welcome them and would love to have them there!
The flyer I have attached is an announcement flyer (created by Tasha Lindemann of Posh/Catty) and will be replaced with a formal flyer with sponsors listed in next few weeks. All I need is a confirmation that you want to be involved and your company name will be added. Also, you may have noticed that Mike Aitken will be at the event this year. Both he and all of us on the East Coast are beyond excited about this opportunity to have fans of his get to meet one of the best to ever do it! Also, anyone that donates to the jam will also be mentioned on The BMX In Our Blood podcast over the coming months up until the jam (July 25th).
